Research & Ideation

In the research stage of Brewed In Tune, I spent a lot of time looking at countless album covers and listening to a lot of music in each genre. Initially, I wanted to visualize music onto my packaging, and as I progressed with my sketches of line drawings, I saw similarities from the 1970s graphic design. Drawing inspiration from the 70s and incorporating music visualization, I decided to add hits of vibrant colour to express what the music sounded like, and what the beer flavour tasted like.

Solution

Started with music visualization with line drawings with inspirations drawn from the 1970s design, the ultimate goal was to visualize what the experience of drinking and looking at Brewed In Tune is like. The overarching creative direction is a combination of music visualization, '70s patterns and '70s typography.

Beer Case

Inspired by the boombox carried on its shoulders, Brewed In Tune's beer case offers a unique and immersive experience along with a Beer Pairing Guide that suggests music to listen to while enjoying our beer.
